The "Wild Turkey 100" was more than just a really good desert race...

It was the Club's Thanksgiving Pot Luck

What's in the hole?

Scott took over the lead but dropped back to second with one lap to go. A good warrior chooses his battles wisely

The First Full Throttle Chili Cookoff Challenge went down at the Speed Limit 100. Wes Feeler, Pastor Mark Budke, and the Spencer Family represented the Club, with a challenge from Rich "Lucky" Harrison of I-8. Who won? Everybody who lined up for a free bowl of Chili! As far as the contest itself, no one ever really took a vote, so right now, it stands as a sort of a tie, but someone reported seeing a big empty Staggs can in Lucky's trash bag...

There's nothing like the feeling of knowing that no matter what kind of trouble you have, the club will always pull together and do what they can to help you out.

Is Eric Hartell crazy? Maybe a little bit, but that's why we like him. Mostly, he's just having fun. Eric did the work of 10 men in getting the track prepped for the Heartbreaker GP last February 13th, and keeping it maintained during the race. He gave up a race day and the paint job on his truck to do it, and we say, "Thanks!"

Eric owns Pro Flow Plumbing in Lakeside, so if ever a monster attacks from under the sink, keep him in mind.

Another Full Throttle member who did a lot more than pull her own weight in putting on the GP was Renee Plunkett. Club secretary-treasurer and current holder of the #2W plate, she was busy for weeks before and after submitting permit apps, finding sponsors, recruiting members, compiling results, filing forms, and catching flak.
